Filtering & Sorting Results

Audit results are grouped, expandable, and filterable so a 50-page crawl doesn't read like a log file. This guide covers how results are organized and how to permanently silence findings that don't apply to your site.

How Results Are Grouped

The report splits findings into Issues (errors), Warnings, and Passed checks, with counts for each at the top. Within those, results group by check - "Meta Description", "4xx Errors", "Image Alt Text" - each showing how many pages are affected. Click a group to expand the list of affected pages with per-page details and a recommendation.

This grouping is deliberate: you fix issues by type ("add missing meta descriptions everywhere") far more efficiently than page by page.

Skipping Checks and Hiding Results

Not every finding deserves attention on every site. Two controls, both per project:

• Skip this check - on any check group, stops that check from appearing in this project's future audits. Use it for checks that structurally don't apply to your site.
• Hide this result - on an individual finding, hides just that one item on future audits. Use it for a known, accepted exception without silencing the whole check.

Skipped and hidden items aren't deleted. The skipped / hidden badge above the results shows how many filters are active and opens a panel listing them all; removing an entry restores it on the next audit.

Why This Matters for Trends

Your audit score and issue counts are only comparable between runs if the same checks are in play. Set up your skips once, early, and leave them - then a falling issue count means real improvement, not filter churn. If you change filters, expect a step in the numbers on the next run.

Can I sort results by page instead of by check?
Results are organized by check with affected pages nested inside each group; there's no page-first view. Expanding a check group shows every affected page in one list.

Do skips apply to my other projects?
No - skip and hide filters are stored per project.

I skipped a check by mistake - how do I get it back?
Open the skipped/hidden badge above the results and remove the entry; it returns on the next audit or page reload.
