What a Brief Contains

Enter the query and the generator analyses what currently ranks for it, then assembles the specification: the intent the results are serving, the subtopics every ranking page covers, the questions attached to the query, a suggested structure, and the length range the existing results sit in.

It stops short of writing anything. That is the point. A brief is a decision about what a page should be, and handing a writer a finished draft skips the decision.

Reading the Output

Brief output, one query
QUERY "how to fix crawled currently not indexed"

INTENT troubleshooting, expects a checklist

COVERED BY ALL RANKING PAGES
  what the status means
  crawl budget
  duplicate content
  thin content

COVERED BY NONE
what to do when the page is correct
    and still not indexed
how long to wait before acting

QUESTIONS ATTACHED TO THIS QUERY 6
LENGTH OF RANKING PAGES 1,100 to 2,400 words
SUGGESTED STRUCTURE 7 sections

The "covered by none" block is the whole reason to run this. Everything ranking explains what the status means, and nothing tells a reader what to do when their page is genuinely fine. That is the angle, and it came from the gap rather than from a brainstorm.

Treat the length range as context, not a target. Ranking pages being 1,100 to 2,400 words tells you the subject needs room. It does not mean 2,400 words beats 1,100.

Questions

Does this write the page?
No, deliberately. It specifies the page. Drafting is a separate step with a separate tool.

Do I have to cover everything listed?
No. The subtopics every ranking page shares are the ones readers expect. The rest is optional.

What does it cost?
It runs on credits, not a subscription, and credits never expire.

Generate a brief for a page you have already tried to rank. Comparing it to what you published is the fastest way to see the gap.
