Account Settings

Your account settings control the details tied to your NitroShock login: your profile, your API key, and which emails NitroShock sends you. These apply to your whole account, not to a single project. To open them, sign in and click the Settings tab in your dashboard.

Profile

The Profile section holds the information shown around the platform and on your reports.

Profile photo. Your avatar is pulled from Gravatar based on your email address. To change it, update the image on your Gravatar account and it will follow you into NitroShock.

Display Name. The name shown throughout the dashboard and on generated reports. Edit it and click Save Profile.

Email Address. Shown here for reference but read only. It is also your login, since NitroShock signs you in with a magic link sent to this address. To change it, contact support.

Company Name. Appears on white-label reports. If you are a member of someone else's team, this field is set by the account owner and you cannot edit it.

Job Title. An optional label for your role. Edit it and click Save Profile.

API access

The API Access section shows your personal API key for programmatic access to NitroShock. Use the copy button to grab it, and the regenerate button to issue a new key. Regenerating immediately invalidates the previous key, so any integration using the old key will stop working until you update it.

Notifications

The Notifications section decides which emails NitroShock sends. Toggle each option on or off, then click Save Settings. Four options are available:

• Email Reports: receive weekly ranking reports by email.
• Ranking Alerts: get notified when a tracked keyword reaches the top 10.
• Low Credit Alerts: get an email when your credit balance runs low.
• Monthly Usage Summary: receive a monthly breakdown of credits used by tool.

Account information

The Account Information section lists your account email and the date you joined, for quick reference.

FAQ

How do I change my account email?

The email field is read only because it doubles as your magic-link login. Contact support to change the address on your account.

How do I change my profile photo?

Photos come from Gravatar, matched to your email address. Set or update your image at gravatar.com and it will appear in NitroShock.

Where do I change my password?

There is no password to manage. NitroShock signs you in with a one-time magic link emailed to you, so there is nothing to set or reset here.

What happens when I regenerate my API key?

The old key stops working right away. Update any integration that used it with the new key, or it will lose access.

Can I set my time zone here?

There is no account-wide time zone setting. When you schedule a report, NitroShock uses your browser's time zone for the send time.
