The largest release so far: a rebuilt AI Visibility tab, a rebuilt Backlinks tab, per-project report branding, project-level team permissions, tools that run without a project, and a broad round of account and billing fixes.
AI Visibility
- Two lanes in one tab - Visibility tracks how often your brand is mentioned across AI answers, and the new Live AI Audit runs your own questions against the assistants directly.
- Four assistants, answers kept in full - ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini are each asked with web search enabled, and every answer is archived verbatim rather than reduced to a score.
- Grounded label - each answer records whether the assistant actually searched the web, so a result is never presented as a live citation when it was not.
- Question pool - build the question set for a project, switch individual questions on and off, and run an audit on demand instead of waiting for the weekly run.
- Steadier alerts - sentiment alerts compare a run against a rolling baseline and need two consecutive breaches before they fire, so one noisy run no longer sends a warning.
Backlinks
- Correct domain totals - link and referring-domain counts were being read from a single page instead of the whole domain, so every profile was reported far smaller than it is. The old figures were cleared and a rescan returns correct numbers.
- Toxicity scored by domain - the audit now scores referring domains rather than individual links, and the headline score is weighted by how many links each domain actually sends.
- Disavow workflow - mark a list as submitted to Google, import a disavow file you already have, and watch the toxicity panel recalculate with those domains excluded.
- Disavow survives a rescan - re-running the audit no longer forgets which domains you had already disavowed.
- Monitoring - switch a project onto automatic monitoring for a weekly light refresh and a monthly full audit.
- Cost quoted before the scan - a refresh prices itself against the size of your link profile and asks for confirmation before it runs.
Reports and branding
- Branding per project - each project can carry its own branding profile, so an unattended report for one client can no longer arrive wearing another client's brand.
- Cover styles - choose between banner, minimal and side-rail covers. The site audit report has a cover for the first time.
- Colour settings say what they do - branding colours are labelled by where they appear (band background, headings, surfaces, rules) instead of by generic names, with a separate colour for text sitting on the header and footer band.
- Brand recorded per report - report history stores the brand a report was actually generated with, not the one that was requested.
Site Audit
- Scheduled audits - a schedule can run a fresh crawl before it sends, set up from a modal on the Site Audit page itself rather than a separate screen.
- Audits resume instead of hanging - a crawl that loses its worker continues from a checkpoint instead of sitting at "processing" forever, and a recurring recovery job picks up anything left stranded.
- Honest progress - the progress view follows a long crawl through to the end instead of declaring a timeout after ten minutes.
- Fallback emails - a schedule that cannot finish a fresh audit sends the previous audit with a notice attached, rather than skipping silently.
Rank tracking and competitors
- Competitors per tracking target - competitors are tracked against a specific target, so your US target and your Canadian target can each carry their own set.
- Adding a competitor works - a database key allowed each domain only once per project, so adding a competitor to a second target reported success and saved nothing.
- Automatic refresh - tracked competitors refresh on a weekly or monthly cadence without being asked.
Team
- Project-level access - a member on the worker role sees only the projects assigned to them, assigned from a Manage projects control on the team screen.
- Role changes - roles now change through a dropdown instead of a typed prompt.
- Owner protection - the organisation owner can no longer be demoted or removed by another administrator.
- Invitations need a click - opening an invitation link only shows the invitation. Accepting is an explicit button, so a mail scanner following the link cannot accept on your behalf.
- No seat cap - organisations are no longer limited by member count.
Tools without a project
- Standalone scans - Site Audit, Backlinks, Competitors, Keyword Research, Content Writer, AI Visibility, AI Overview Finder and Citation Gap all run as one-off scans without creating a project first.
- Tool pages open to visitors - the credit tools render for logged-out visitors and ask for an account when you run a scan, instead of replacing the whole page with a login wall.
- Rank tracking stays in a project - rank tracking is project-scoped by design, and the unfinished standalone version has been removed.
Account and billing
- Account separation fix - accounts created without a purchase shared one internal identity, which could show one customer's project to another. Every affected account now has its own identity and the affected records were repaired.
- Purchases attributed correctly - credit purchases and saved payment methods are keyed to the licence that bought them.
- Credits arrive even if you close the tab - a purchase is now credited by the payment webhook as well as by the browser, so leaving the page straight after paying no longer loses the credits.
- Backlink refreshes priced by size - a refresh is priced against the number of referring domains instead of a flat charge that did not reflect the work.
- Scheduled audits record their credits - an audit started by a schedule now records its usage against the account that owns it.
Documentation
- Help docs verified - the published help documentation was reviewed page by page against the product and rewritten wherever it had drifted.
