NitroImg v1.2.0 - Fill In Missing WebP Sizes

Add an image size to your theme after NitroImg has already run and the new size has no WebP version, which shows up as a broken image if your theme asks for the WebP directly. NitroImg now spots that gap and fills it in.

Missing Size Detection

• Knows when sizes appear later - registering a new image size and regenerating thumbnails leaves those sizes without a WebP counterpart. NitroImg now notices as the new sizes are written, rather than leaving you to find a broken image on the page.
• Scan your library - a new panel in Settings reports how many images are missing sizes and how many sizes that adds up to, before you convert anything.
• Converts only what is missing - existing WebP files are left alone and the new ones are merged in, so filling a gap never re-converts work you already paid for.

Automatic Fill-In

• Optional background pass - a new setting fills in new sizes on its own, a few images at a time. It is off by default, because converting uses credits and that should be your call.
• Runs after the fact, not during - regenerating a large library never converts inline, so a bulk regeneration stays fast and does not spend credits mid-request.

Fixes

• Partial conversions are no longer reported as complete - when some sizes failed and others succeeded, the result said only that conversion succeeded. It now names the sizes that did not convert and writes the reason to the error log.
