AI Content Generation in the Page Editor

The NitroShock page editor includes an AI Tab sidebar with six content generation modes. Each mode serves a different purpose—from generating fresh page content from a keyword to visually modernizing an existing page's design. Open the AI Tab by clicking the AI icon in the page editor toolbar while editing any NitroShock-enabled page.

Your current credit balance is shown at the top of the AI Tab sidebar. A low-balance warning with a recharge link appears when credits fall below 100.

Mode 1: Create New

Generates fresh SEO-optimized page content from a topic or keyword.

1. Select Create New.
2. Enter a topic or keyword (e.g., "residential plumbing services Seattle").
3. Choose any optional add-ons.
4. Review the credit estimate and click Generate.

Add-ons included in the base cost at no extra charge: meta description, page title, excerpt, social share text.

Optional paid add-ons:

• FAQ Section — generates a question-and-answer section relevant to the topic
• Schema JSON-LD — generates structured data markup appropriate for the page type

Mode 2: Rephrase

Rewrites existing content with a different tone or length.

1. Select Rephrase.
2. Choose a content source: full current page, selected text on the page, or paste text manually.
3. Select a tone: Same, Professional, Casual, Conversational, Formal, or Simple.
4. Set a length adjustment: from −25% (shorter) to +200% (longer).
5. Confirm and generate.

Mode 3: Modernize

Updates the visual design of the current page without changing the written content.

1. Select Modernize.
2. Check which design elements to update — each option adds to the base cost.
3. Confirm and generate.

Available options: hero section redesign, cards layout update, animations and transitions, button styling, icon replacement or addition, grid and spacing improvements.

Mode 4: Beat Competitor

Fetches a competitor URL and generates better content on the same topic.

1. Select Beat Competitor.
2. Enter the competitor's URL.
3. Optionally enter your own positioning angle or differentiators.
4. Confirm and generate.

The AI scrapes the competitor URL, identifies the main content themes, and writes new page content that covers the same topic with expanded depth and your brand voice.

Mode 5: Merge Pages

Combines content from two or more sources into a single well-structured page.

1. Select Merge Pages.
2. Add at least two sources: select WordPress pages from the dropdown or enter external URLs.
3. Confirm and generate.

Useful when consolidating thin content pages into one stronger page, or combining topic coverage from multiple sources.

Mode 6: Insert Component

Opens the Component Library inline so you can browse and insert components without leaving the page editor. No credits used.

Site Profile Context

All AI generation modes use your NitroShock → Site Profile settings — company name, website purpose, and location — as global context in every prompt. Keeping your site profile current significantly improves the relevance of generated content.

Common Questions

Can I preview AI output before it is applied to my page?

AI changes are applied directly to the editor session. Use the global undo in the editor toolbar to revert if the result is not what you wanted.

Does the page save automatically after AI generation?

No. The AI updates the live editor session. You must explicitly save using the Save button in the editor toolbar to persist the changes.

Can I generate content on a page that already has components?

Yes. Generated content is typically inserted at the current cursor position or appended to the page. Existing components are not removed.
